Flatten Your Tummy and Soften Your SkinThe holidays are coming. There are parties to go to, dresses to fit in to, and so much good food to eat! What’s a girl to do?

Well I have been researching cheap home remedies to flatten my tummy, smooth out my cellulite, and give me irresistibly soft skin even during this dry season. And I’m going to share the best tips with you!

Flatten Tummy:

Cranberry Juice & Water — Mix 2 tablespoons of cranberry juice with 8 oz. of water. Cranberries help burn up the waste that causes general fat buildup.

Green Tea — Add a little lemon and honey if you must (I know I do!). Green tea ups your metabolism and the site claims that you can lose 6 pound in 8 weeks if you drink 4 cups a day.

Lemon & Water — Squeeze 1 lemon into 8 oz. of water. This is claimed to be one of the best ways to boost your metabolism and eliminate tummy fat.

Cinnamon — Mix 1 tablespoon (a lot I know!) into your daily drinks and food. This is great for burning fat all over the body as it generates heat through metabolic stimulation that literally burns the fat away.

Smooth Cellulite:

Apple Cider Vinegar — Mix 2 tablespoons into 8 oz. of water and drink every morning. For a topical treatment, combine 3 parts ACV with 1 part of your favorite massage oil and rub into the affected areas twice a day. The acidic and corrosive qualities help ACV get rid of the proteins that cause excess production of hormones and enzymes.

Cayenne Pepper — Add 1/2 – 1 teaspoons of this spice into your food twice a day. Like cinnamon, this has a thermogenic quality that actually burns away fat and cellulite. If you’re like me and can’t handle the heat, apparently there are cayenne pepper capsules.

Gelatin — A tablespoon a day mixed into a broth or smoothie will add dietary collagen to your diet. This will not only help your cellulite fade but it will also strengthen your skin, hair, and nails, making them look younger and healthier.

Soften Skin:

Sugar Scrub — Mix 2 and 1/2 cups of regular sugar with 1 cup of oil (olive, vegetable, coconut, whatever you’ve got on hand) and 5 tablespoons of fresh citrus juice. Run a bath and shave your legs. Then give them a good scrub up and down with the sugar scrub. Now shave your legs again. Weird I know. This time, you’ll be scraping off the dead skin you just roughed up. Then give them a good scrub again with the sugar mix. This will leave your skin silky soft and smooth.

Baking Soda — Make a paste with baking soda and water. Rub this in circles on your face. Remove with a warm, wet washcloth and follow up with moisturizer.
